With 5 Star Level, Indigo Hotel and Holiday Inn Resort Will Open in Bintan

Bintan, Batamnews - Two 5-star luxury hotels will soon be available in Bintan Regency, Riau Islands.

Is the Indigo Hotel and Holiday Inn Resort which was built by the Mandiri Group in the Lagoi Bay Area, Lagoi Tourism Area.

Mandiri Group director, Artur Batubara, said that the Indigo Hotel and Holiday Inn Resort were 60 percent ready. However, the physical structure of the building has reached 100 percent.

"The target for the operation of these two hotels is in the third quarter of 2022," said Artur after the Topping Off Ceremony of Indigo Bintan and Holiday Inn Resort in Lagoi Bay, Tuesday (22/6/2021).

This hotel owned by PT Graha Agung Indah Sentosa stands majestically on 11 hectares of land in the Lagoi Bay Area. Built from 2019-2022. The investment value disbursed to build the hotel is Rp. 1 trillion.

Indigo Bintan will have a capacity of 120 rooms. While the Holiday Inn Resort has a capacity of 250 rooms. The executor or operator of the two hotels in the Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG).

"Our commitment is to see the economy in Bintan continuing to grow. So we make a big investment in the hope of giving color to the progress of tourism and economic progress in Bintan," he explained.

The design of these two hotels is the international standard. However, both also adopt the concept of local in Bintan. For Indigo, the design elevates the feel of a Kelong, especially the hotel lobby so that it has a story of local cultural history.

Holiday Inn Resort is also similar. The concept is taken by looking at an important component in this area, namely mangrove forests or mangroves. So the garden and interior of the Holiday Inn Resort will have a mangrove nuance.
