ATB Fails to Pass Tender for Drinking Water Management in Batam

Batam - PT Adhya Tirta Batam failed to participate in the raw water management auction in Batam, Riau Islands (Kepri).

The Auction Committee for Cooperation in Operation and Maintenance of the Batam Upstream Drinking Water Supply System (the Auction Committee) has announced the results of the pre-qualification.

In the results of the announcement of the pre-qualification, there were three names of companies that passed this stage.

"The three companies that passed this stage were based on the results of the evaluation of the qualification documents," said Director of the BP Batam Public Relations, Promotion and Protocol Bureau, Dendy Gustinandar, Thursday (12/8/2021).

The three companies that passed are:

1. The consortium of PT. Krakatau Tirta Industri – Public Company (Perum) Jasa Tirta II – PT. Adaro Tirta Mandiri – PT. Strivechem Indonesia

2. PT. PAM Lyonnaise Jaya

3. The consortium of PT. Moya Indonesia – PT. PP (Persero)

"The order of the list of participants who passed the Prequalification does not indicate the rank of the participants," said Dendy.

Dendy said that if any participant objected to the announcement of the Prequalification Results, they could submit a rebuttal to the Head of the Auction Committee.

"The objection must be submitted in writing and signed by an official representative of the Participant by letter," he said.

One of the drinking water management companies owned by Erick Thohir, the Minister of SOEs, participated in the auction, PT Adaro Tirta Mandiri. This company has been poor across several clean water management projects.
