Batam Fishermen Smuggles 20 Thousand YinYang Ecstasy Pills

Batam - A fisherman with the initials AK (29) from Kasu Island, Belakang Padang, was arrested by the Riau Island's National Police's Narcotics Detective (Ditresnarkoba Polda) in connection with selling ecstasy drugs.

The man was arrested at the port of Tanjung Uma Port, Batam on November 18, 2020. The police found 20 thousand YinYang-type ecstasy pills.

Director of the Ditresnarkoba, Kombes Pol Mudji Supriadi, said that the 20 thousand ecstasy pills had been packaged in different colors.

"We found 10,600 blue YinYang ecstasy pills and 9,400 pink YinYang ecstasy pills. So in total, there are 20 thousand items," said Mudji, Monday (30/11/2020).

Currently, the development of the perpetrator and the evidence are still being investigated by the police.
