Natuna - The Natuna task force team complained that many patients refused to be quarantined centrally. Many obstacles were found during the meeting with the Natuna Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), Tuesday (17/11/2020).

The Natuna DPRD itself questioned the existence of a centralized location for Covid patient quarantine in the Hajj dormitory which was not optimal. The reason was, of the 19 patients who tested positive, only two were quarantined in the Hajj dormitory. The rest are under home quarantine.

Head of the Health Service (Kadiskes) Natuna Rizal Rinaldi admitted that his party experienced problems in evacuating Covid-19 patients. He explained that it is not uncommon for the Task Force in the field to receive refusals from patients and their
families to be relocated to undergo special isolation.

"It is not uncommon for families to be confirmed positive, when we will transport this patient to Ranai for special isolation, instead they threaten with a knife," explained Kadiskes Rizal.

Chairman of Commission I DPRD Natuna, Wan Aris Munandar regretted this. He questioned the risk of self-isolation at home because it is considered dangerous for other family members. This was because of the vulnerability of transmission.

Wan Aris assessed that the Task Force Team did not collaborate with Law Enforcement Officials (APH) in the process of handling Covid-19 patients. "We from the DPRD see that the Task Force Team does not cooperate with APH. I think the problem is very
simple," said Wan Aris.

Many positive patients who only self-quarantine at home have become the highlight. If the location of the Hajj dormitory is not used optimally, according to him, the isolation efforts would be useless.
