Batam - From January to September 2020, Dit Resnarkoba Polda Kepri together with units in each Polres prevented hundreds of kilograms of methamphetamine-type drugs.

Director of Narcotics Polda Kepri Kombes Mudji Supriyadi, said from January to September 2020, his team secured 24,773.83 grams of methamphetamine-type drugs (Ice) (24.8 Kg). For marijuana as much as 21,097.17 grams (21 kg) and ecstasy as much as 31,106 grains.

"We got that number from a total of 87 cases," said Mudji, Friday (9/25/2020).

For the Barelang Police, from January to September 2020, 99,934.17 grams of methamphetamine were secured. 421.18 grams of marijuana and 40,006 ecstasy items with 87 cases.

The Tanjungpinang Police managed to secure 20,206.17 grams of methamphetamine-type drugs, 137.28 grams of marijuana, and 361 grams of ecstasy with a total of 50 cases.

The Tanjungbalai Karimun Police secured 2,259.95 grams of methamphetamine drugs, 2.52 grams of cannabis, and 24.5 grams of ecstasy, 359 happy five items, and 411.6 grams of drugs and other dangerous goods with 40 cases.

The Bintan Police has secured 1,448.47 grams of methamphetamine-type drugs, 1,012 grams of marijuana, 65 ecstasy items, and 240 happy five items out of 21 cases.

Natuna Police secured 7.42 grams of methamphetamine-type drugs, 17.94 grams of marijuana, and 3 out of 4 cases of ecstasy.

Lingga Police secured 36.02 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 17.88 grams of marijuana, and 2 ecstasies out of 7 cases.

The Anambas Police secured 2.73 grams of methamphetamine-type drugs from the two cases.

So the total number of cases in Riau Islands, for methamphetamine drugs as many as 148,668.80 grams (148.7 Kg), 22,705.97 grams of cannabis, 71,568 ecstasy items, 629 happy five items, and 411 drugs and other dangerous goods, 6 grams.
