Batam Influencers Launch #BatamLawanCorona, Targeting Donations of Billions Rupiah

Batam - Batam is haunted by a corona virus attack (COVID-19). The corona virus outbreak (COVID-19) has infected four people in Riau Islands and 222 people have become PDP (Patients under medical observation) and 44 others OPD (People being monitored).

This condition is a concern for influencers in Batam. Moreover, the trend of this disease is expected to continue to rise until next April.

Responding to the incident, PSTORE and BatamNews organized a charity and mobilized influencers to move socially and take action to recover Batam from the corona virus attack.

This action is called #BatamLawanCorona or #BatamAgaintsCorona. It was launched on Saturday, March 22, 2020. The official Instagram account, @BatamLawanCorona, has also been launched.

While the real action on the field has begun today, Sunday, March 22, 2020.

In this action, Batam residents are advised to remain at home to isolate themselves from the surrounding environment for a while.

While the volunteers are trying to raise funds and go to the field to spray the houses of worship, and other public places.

At present donations to the #BatamDirumahAja movement have reached 2 billion rupiah and targeted to reach more.

In the social action, there will be distribution of groceries, masks, hand sanitizers, medicines and vitaman, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) clothing for medical personnel.
