Batam, Batamnews - The polemic of the Oxley Convention City development in Batam, Riau Islands not only makes it difficult for consumers who have paid a certain amount of money to buy apartment units.

Constraints are also faced by marketing personnel who have been involved in marketing these property products.

As revealed by one of Oxley's marketing named Willy. He admitted that it was difficult for him to take a stand on the issue of building an apartment that has now changed its name to One Avenue.

"Currently, we are having a hard time taking a stand because we have seen the experience from 2016 until now," said Willy when contacted, Wednesday (1/9/2021).

He explained that the process of handing over units to consumers had not been implemented.

If it was based on the provisions on the purchase in 2016, then the handover should be carried out in 2020.

"At that time it was relaunching too, so there were consumers in the first and second phases," he said.

In addition, Willy will also have difficulty convincing consumers because the management makes overlapping or inconsistent decisions.

Because, based on previous experience, management policies are always changing.

"That's why there is no big picture for its future yet, but I will still find a middle way," he said.
