Batam, Batamnews - The Mayor of Batam, HM Rudi said that there were already 3,000 posts to support the implementation of restrictions on community activities (PPKM). These posts were formed in each hamlet (RW).

"If there are positive ones in their area, they can immediately report, help bring them with the treatment, and carry out surveillance in their area," said Rudi, Tuesday (6/7/2021)

Rudi said that for one micro PPKM post there were 5 people on duty, and if totaled for the entire Batam, there were 15 thousand people who joined the PPKM post.

Batam is one of the areas included in the micro PPKM tightening category in the Riau Islands Province.

Community activities are limited to 20.00 WIB.

Officers who are members of PPKM, said Rudi were asked to carry out their duties and functions properly.

"It's like evacuating if there are people who are exposed to Covid-19," he said.
