Batam Residents Willing to Queue from Early Morning To Get Vaccination

Batam, Batamnews - Covid-19 vaccination for residents of Batam, Riau Islands will be held until June 25, 2021. The Temenggung Abdul Jamal GOR in Mukakuning area has become a vaccination center.

Since it was announced at the end of last week, the enthusiasm of citizens to protect themselves from the Corona virus has been very high. As a result, there was a buildup of resident’s crowds and ignorance of health protocols.

Avoiding the crowds, a number of residents tried to arrive early. Some even came at 6 am, two hours before the vaccine process started.

As told by Sholeh, a resident of Batuaji. He came to Temenggung Abdul Jamal at around 7 am.

"Coming at 7 am, I got the queue number 871. The vaccine was around 11 am," said Sholeh.

He came with his family. The goal is to participate in the vaccine, in order to anticipate the danger of Corona.

When asked about the brand of vaccine to be injected into him, Sholeh shook his head.

"I don't know, the important thing is to be vaccinated," he said.

Vaccination service for Batam residents at the Temenggung Abdul Jamal Sports Center starts at 8.00 to 15.00 WIB.

To take part in this vaccination, residents only need to bring their ID cards, prepare their own telephone numbers and must be 18 years of age or older.
