Karimun Covid-19 Vaccination To Be Held on January 30th

Karimun - The Covid-19 vaccination process in Karimun, Riau Islands immediately took place after the arrival of 3,480 vaccine vials, via Tanjung Balai Port on Tuesday (26/1/2021).

Thousands of vaccine vials are distributed by the central government to Riau Islands Province. Those vaccine vials will be distributed in 7 districts/cities.

The Riau Islands Provincial Secretary (Sekdaprov) T.S Arif Fadillah was immediately handed the vaccine to the Regent of Karimun Aunur Rafiq at the Karimun National Building.

"This is the second phase that includes Karimun, Lingga, Anambas, and Natuna districts," said T.S Arif Fadillah.

Secretary Arif stated that for Karimun, the first injection or administration will be carried out on January 30.

For the first phase of vaccine administration, it is planned to be allocated to medical personnel in Karimun.

Meanwhile, Regent Karimun Aunur Rafiq said that his party was ready to carry out vaccinations.

"We will distribute this vaccine to 15 points which include 13 points in health centers and 2 points in hospitals," he said.

Rafiq targeted that the first phase of vaccination will be completed in February or a month from now.
