First-Ever Covid-19 Vaccination in Natuna

Natuna - After receiving 2,200 vials of the Corona Sinovac vaccine, the Natuna Regency Government (Pemkab), Riau Islands (Kepri), finally launched a symbolic vaccination at the Natuna Hospital, Thursday (28/1/2021) morning.

A total of 10 people were selected to participate in the vaccine for the first time. They are Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) Members, Army-Police Leaders, Regional Government Officials, Community Leaders, and Representatives of OKP and Ormas.

Representing the Natuna DPRD, Eri Marka from the Golkar faction became the first Natuna official to receive the Covid-19 vaccination. Meanwhile, the one acting as a vaccinator was the Chairperson of the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) Natuna, Dr. Ari Fajarudi.

Meanwhile, from the Army-Police party, the recipients of the first phase vaccine were Danlanud Raden Sadjad, Colonel (Pnb) Dedy Ilham, and Danlanal Ranai, Colonel Navy (P) M.Dofir. Meanwhile, the vaccine injection for Dandim and Natuna Police Chief was canceled after undergoing the examination.

When questioned after being injected with the vaccine, Eri Marka admitted that she initially felt a little nervous. This was said because it was the first time in Natuna, especially since she was the first person in the vaccination sequence.

"I was a little nervous, but I feel relieved now," said Eri Marka.

The vaccination process itself begins with registration at the first table, followed by an examination of body temperature and disease history, vaccine injection, and through the recording and monitoring table.
