Tanjungpinang, Batamnews - The perpetrator of theft in a fish warehouse in the Pelantar KUD Tanjungpinang market is troubling. The perpetrator has several times stolen fish and cuttlefish belonging to traders.

The act of theft was recorded on CCTV cameras. In the footage, a man is seen breaking into the fish warehouse by breaking the door. He then opened the fiber box and put the fish and cuttlefish into a plastic bag.

"It's been suspected several times, I've also made police reports," said the warehouse owner, Soetadji, Friday (26/3/2021).

He said there was something strange about the perpetrator. In the CCTV footage, the perpetrator appears to be wearing only his underwear while in action.

"It's strange, just using underwear, the loss is tens of millions," he said.

The Head of the Tanjungpinang Police, Iptu City, Muhammad Arsha, confirmed the theft incident. His party has also received reports from victims.

"Yes, it's still in the process of investigating," he said briefly.
