Batam - As many as three prospective passengers were detected positive for the Covid-19 virus at Hang Nadim Airport during examination on Saturday, December 26, 2020.

Acting Manager of BUBU Hang Nadim Batam, Benny Syahroni said, Saturday (26/12/2020) as many as 318 people took the rapid antigen test at the airport.

"There were three people who were confirmed positive after carrying out the antigen rapid test," said Benny, Sunday (27/12/2020).

His party has carried out the steps according to the health protocol. Passengers were educated and it was recommended for those who were tested positive to undergo a PCR swab test to get accurate results.

"Passengers were directed to the airline for ticket refunds, and we report passenger data to the Batam TGC Team and the airport TGC Team for the next step," said Benny.

A few days ago, from the rapid antigen test activities at the airport which began on December 21, a total of 18 prospective passengers who were tested positive for corona were found.

With the addition of 3 detected cases, a total of 21 prospective passengers were tested positive after carrying out rapid antigen examinations.
