Batam - New cases of Corona in Batam, Riau Islands decreased in the fourth week of November 2020, when compared to previous weeks.

Data from the Batam Covid-19 Task Force as of November 24, 2020, showed that there were 45 new cases daily.

The 45 cases consisted of 18 symptomatic cases, 18 asymptomatic cases, and 9 close contact cases.

The thing that needs attention is the increasing death rate of Corona.

If 92 people died in the previous day, now it has increased to 95 people accumulatively or an increase of 3 patients died.

Then, for the recovery of patients, there were 20 people, and increasing the number of Corona patients recovered to a total of 2,974.

Corona cases in Batam have accumulated slowly to 4,000 cases, namely 3,768 cases with 699 active cases.

Batam Island has yet to change its status from the Corona red zone to this day. Nine sub-districts on the main island are still totally red.
