Batam - The motorcycle-taxi drivers (Gojek) in Batam rallied by turning off the application (offbid) for the last six days. This has spread confusion among users on how to obtain the services.

Usually, the customer was helped by the services provided by Gojek such as Go-send, Go-food, and others.

"Yeah, when will they stop turning off the application? I am having a hard time sending my merchandise to customers, "said Sakinah, one of the users, Tuesday (07/14/2020).

Although she was forced to switch to other applications to deliver merchandise, she still hoped the drivers will be active again soon.

The Gojek drivers in Batam are currently on strike. They protested Gojek's management policy regarding several programs that were considered harmful.

There are five points that were the demands of Gojek drivers in Batam, namely the abolition of the 'Berkat Program', evaluation of the jockey account without conditions, tariff evaluation, system changes must involve Gojek partners, and decisions must be communicated transparently.
