Kpop Star BTS is Expected to Come to Batam, Don't Miss it!
Batam, Batamnews - Boyband from South Korea, Bangtan Boys or commonly called BTS is planned to be present to Batam in the framework of a cooperation agreement (PKS). This activity will be held in mid-December.
Previously, the Batam Concession Agency (BP) had signed the initial Heads of Agreement (HoA) cooperation in the management of Batam's Hang Nadim Airport with the Angkasa Pura I - Incheon International Airport Corporation (IIAC) - Wijaya Karya consortium last July.
The head of BP Batam, Muhammad Rudi, said the PKS plan was a follow-up to his meeting with the Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Airlangga Hartanto last week in Jakarta. During the meeting discussed the technical implementation of the PKS.
"So it was planned that the Minister of Tourism of South Korea would attend together with their SOE minister," said Rudi, Friday (11/26/2021).
He explained, the Minister of Tourism of South Korea offered to bring the boy band BTS to PKS. The offer was immediately accepted by Rudi.
However, there was a slight obstacle, the boyband from South Korea provides a condition that there is no quarantine upon arrival in the country. Meanwhile, quarantine rules in Indonesia require quarantine for 5 days upon arrival in Indonesia.
"Regarding this, the Ministry of Health will take care of it later," he said.
He hopes that the cooperation agreement by presenting BTS can be carried out before the implementation of level III community activity restrictions (PPKM), ahead of the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays.
"Because BTS was present, of course not only Batam residents who watched, other areas would also come here, the estimated audience could be 40-50 thousand people," he said.
