Batam Health Office: Vaccination Dose I Has Reached 50.70 Percent

Batam, Batamnews - Batam Government noted that 397,975 people had received the first dose of vaccination, while for the second dose, 62,197 people.

The Batam Health Office said the ratio of the dose I vaccination reached 50.70 percent of the 785,003 residents who had to be vaccinated.

It is known, the population of Batam city is 1,157,882 people. And for the number of vaccination targets over the age of 18 years as many as 785,003 people.

The target number of health workers is 9,136 people, the number of elderly targets is 18,806 people, and the number of public servants is 70,918 people.

"For the stock of vaccines as of June 30, 2021, Sinovac was 4,498 vials, Astrazeneca 2,094 vials. In total, the two types of vaccines were 6,592 vials," he said.

The Batam Government continues to carry out and accelerate the Covid-19 vaccination program with a target achievement of 70 percent.

That's considering the plan to reopen the doors of local and foreign tourism. Therefore, Pemko Batam is optimistic that it will be achieved.

"If we have achieved 70 percent of our vaccine achievements, then we can be confident in promoting Batam," he said.
