Even though this eclipse has only appeared once in 195 years.

Currently, cloudy weather also covers the moonlight when viewed from several Batam areas.

Previously BMKG events which were one of the consequences of the dynamic movement in the position of the Sun, Earth, and Moon only occurred during the full moon phase and could be predicted in advance.

"The total lunar eclipse that occurs when the Sun-Earth-Moon enters the Earth's umbra," wrote the BMKG website.

The eclipse phase will begin at 18:03 WIB and the peak is predicted at 18:18 WIB. Until 21:00 WIB, the eclipse had not yet been seen.

However, there are also Batam residents who managed to see the eclipse.

Meanwhile, at several points in Batam, it was cloudy and even rainy.
