Natuna, Batamnews - The people of Ranai Darat Village, Sunday (18/4/2021) morning were surprised by the discovery of a body hanging from a mango tree.

The victim is known to be Wan Arifin (24), a university student who lives in RT 004 / RW 003, Ranai Darat Village, East Bunguran District, Natuna, Riau Islands (Kepri).

The eyewitness who is also the victim's father, Wan Zaharuddin (55) said that the first person who found the victim was the mother.

After that, the family immediately notified Kaling I of Ranai Darat Village. Then, the report was forwarded to the local Bhabinkamtibmas before the police came to the scene.

The victim himself has disappeared from the house since Saturday (17/4/2021) night. In the end, he was found hanging on Sunday morning at around 05.30 WIB.

The family does not know for sure the motives and reasons for the victim to end his life. The Natuna Police are currently at the scene of the police line.

Meanwhile, the body of Wan Arifin was taken to the Natuna Regional Hospital for further examination regarding the cause of his death.
