Karimun - The way Suriadi, a man in Karimun Regency, Riau Island Province, proposes to his girlfriend, Siti Julaiha, is crazy and anti-mainstream.

Right at the moment of Valentine's Day, a marriage proposal was showed on his side in a form of a large billboard at the traffic light intersection of Jl A Yani, Sei Lakam.

On a 4x7 meter billboard, the words "Happy Valentine My Love. Siti Julaiha. Will U Marry Me ?? Suriadi" were written on the red board with a love patterned background.

This moment happened on Sunday afternoon, (14/2/2020) before the cover was opened.

"Earlier, there is a couple who took photos in front of the shop. Before that, someone said that there would be a marriage proposal," said the shop owner, Tari.

The residents also did not know if there was such writing on the billboard above the shop.

"It looks like it was installed last night, then before it was revealed, it was covered with cloth. I just found out that someone proposed (his girlfriend) a moment ago," said the resident.

Meanwhile, in a circulating video, Suriadi shows a ring on his knees in front of his lover.
