Attorney`s Office of Riau Islands Gathers Evidence of the Alleged 18 Fictitious Proposals of Rp1.9 B

Tanjungpinang - The Riau Islands Provincial Attorney General's Office (Kejati) immediately summoned officials within the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) of the Riau Islands Province regarding the alleged disbursement of fictitious proposals that reached more than Rp 1.9 billion.

The office had previously summoned officials and employees within the Riau Islands Province Political and National Unity Agency (Kesbangpol) to be asked for clarification with the alleged case of the fictitious proposal.

"Currently, the Attorney General's Office has not yet summoned an official at BPKAD, but there will be," said the Head of the Intelligence Section of the Riau Islands Attorney General Agustian Sunaryo in Tanjungpinang, Thursday (4/2/2021).

Agustian added that currently, his party has collected information (pulbaket) which is only for the management's report by clarifying and looking for data on the alleged case.

Sunaryo also emphasized that in collecting this data in coordination with the government internal supervisory apparatus (APIP) at the Regional Inspectorate of the Riau Islands Province.

"Later what the results of the APIP will be like, and added from the data obtained, we will be combined and summarized and reported to the leadership," he explained.

The Head of the Riau Islands Kejari Kasintel also explained that the collection of clarification and data from this Kepri official had not yet led to the person who directed and ordered the withdrawal of the fictitious proposal.

"We collect data first. After the data is collected comprehensively, we will address the person behind it," he said.

The Attorney General's Office confirmed that it would schedule the summons of officials at BPKAD Kepri and the time would not be long. "Yes, shortly we will schedule the summons," he said.
