KM Sinar`s Crew Falls in Karimun Sea

Karimun - A crew of the KM Sinar kuraw fishing boat fell into the sea on Monday (28/12/2020) afternoon while sailing.

This incident was discovered when the captain of KM Sinar, Tohi, reported to the Meral Navy observation post at around 16.30 WIB.

Before it was discovered that he had fallen, the young man from Baran, Karimun Regency, was awakened by the ship's chef to eat.

Teguh's was discovered had fallen when the ship sailed around Sembawang waters, Pangke Village, Karimun Regency, Riau Islands Province (Kepri) at around 10:00 WIB.

The final steadfast position was at the stern of the ship. He allegedly slipped and fell into the sea when the ship was about to enter the waters of the Pulau Asam region.

"The condition of the crew on board the ship at that time was overslept, including tekong, for the rudder, was taken over by the ship's chef," said Danlanal TBK, Marine Lieutenant Colonel (P) Maswedi, Monday (28/12/2020) night.

However, Teguh's search didn't succeed. The KM Sinar captain then reports to the Meral observation post.

At 16.45 WIB, the Navy Meral observation post collected information and coordinated with related agencies to be on standby to search.

Fortunately, the crew's life was saved after a fisherman named Sudir who was fishing in Pangke waters found Teguh adrift.

"The victim was found at around 13.00 WIB, around the waters of Pulau Asam by a fisherman from Rawai in good condition," said Maswedi.

The news of Teguh's congratulations was obtained at around 18.15 WIB. He was taken to the Muhammad Sani Regional Hospital to be checked on his health condition.
