Anambas - A massive swab test was carried out by the Covid Task Force Team in the Anambas Islands Regency to a number of medical workers at the UPT Palmatak Hospital, Sunday (11/8/2020).

This was after a doctor at the hospital tested positive for Covid-19, as well as being recorded as the fifth case in Anambas Regency.

Director of Palmatak Hospital, drg. Windra Agus Yulianto. Sp. KGA explained, as many as 45 health workers who took part in the mass swab test.

"For this reason, until the results of the swab test come out, all services at the Palmatak Regional Hospital are temporarily stopped, except for emergency services, while health services are temporarily transferred to the Palmatak Puskesmas and health facilities in each region," he said, Monday (9/11 / 2020).

He reminded the public not to be careless in fighting Covid-19.

"Stay in compliance with government regulations, run health protocols by wearing masks, keep your distance and wash your hands diligently with soap every time you start and finish your activities," Windra said.
