Batam - Batam Government has prepared a special public cemetery (TPU) to bury the bodies of corona patients who have died.

The location is not far from the Sei Temiang Public Cemetery (TPU), in Tanjung Riau Village, Sekupang District.

On Saturday (19/9/2020), Batamnews visited the special Covid-19 cemetery which is on an area of approximately 2 hectares.

Unlike other public cemeteries, the Covid-19 special cemetery cannot be accessed carelessly. The gate in front of the cemetery was locked.
