Police Officer Demands Rp 1 Million to a Tourist Due to Broken Lights

Jakarta - A police officer allegedly asked tourists for a sum of money while driving on the road.

Recently, a video of an unscrupulous policeman was spread out over a Japanese tourist. The police officers appeared to be asking the tourist for a fine of Rp. 1 million.

This action was uploaded by kenji style Youtube account. You can see a bespectacled police officer stopping a motorist.

The police officer asked the tourist for a vehicle certificate. The tourist also gave all the papers to the police.

After being checked, the police also told the tourists that the documents were complete. However, this person said that the front lights were off so that they had to be fined.

Talking in English, the policeman then asked tourists for Rp. 1 million so that this problem could be resolved.

The tourist thought he was only fined Rp. 100,000. However, police officers asked for Rp. 1 million.

Then the tourist gave Rp 900 thousand to the police. Even the police accepted and promised to solve this problem quickly.
