Tanjungpinang - Announcement of graduation from high school / vocational / special high school students in Riau Islands Province will be delivered simultaneously on the 2nd May 2020 through online.

The Head of Riau Islands Provincial Education Office, Muhammad Dali, said that graduation was fully the authority of the education unit based on the results of the graduation determination meeting by each education unit.

"To determine graduation using the value of School Exams," Dali said, in Tanjungpinang, Tuesday (4/28/2020).

The circular, Dali added, was delivered to all schools in Riau Islands. He asked the school not to gather students or parents in the school.

"The announcement will be made online via the web. But it can also be done by sending it through the Post Office, or courier services to the addresses of students' parents, for schools that are not available in the region," Dali said.

In addition, Dali also emphasized that students are advised not to do doodles or do convoy celebrations right on the day of graduation announcements.

And do not engage in other activities that involve large numbers of people. "We urge schools to ban their students from celebrating graduation, especially by conducting convoys. That we have conveyed to the school," said Dali.
