Batam - The victim died lying with stab wounds on the roadside of Bengkong Sadai area, Friday (11/12/2020) night.

The police said that Heru (35) was a building foreman. He was reportedly involved in a fight with his construction crew during a project at that location.

The man who was found dead covered in blood in the Bengkong Sadai area, Friday (11/12/2020) night was discovered by construction workers in one of the shophouses in the area.

Heru wore long trousers and a green striped shirt and blue hat. He lay dead with a stab wound in his stomach. He still wore project boots. Beside it, there was also a building measuring instrument or meter.

According to Dirkrimum Polda Kepri, Kombes Pol Arie Dharmanto, the victim was involved in a fight with the perpetrator about salary issues.

"Currently, the perpetrator who is still with the initials X is known and is being investigated," said Arie at the location.

The police are now at the scene to investigate the crime scene.

According to residents, Heru and his subordinates were currently working on a shop building project.
