Batam - A woman was found dead after jumping from Batam’s Iconic Landmark the Barelang Bridge, Tuesday (10/11/2020).

The police identified her identity as Netti Batubara, a resident of Rosinton Raya Housing, Blok C1, Number 2, RT 01/07, Tembesi Village, Sagulung District.

Kapolsek Sagulung AKP Yusuf Yusriadi said the victim was handled by the Barelang Police identification unit.

"Yes, right, currently being handled by the Barelang Police Inafis," said Yusuf.

When found by residents, the woman's body was wearing a blue Donker shirt.

The body has been evacuated to Bhayangkara Hospital. The police said they were questioning the family.
