Tanjungpinang - The Search and Relief Office (National SAR Agency) Tanjungpinang, will carry out a force rally of surveillance in tourist areas, especially beaches. 

This event was planned to anticipate unwanted events during national holidays and the Birth of Prophet Muhammad PBUH holiday, on Tuesday (27/10/2020).

The Head of the Tanjungpinang Search and Relief Office, Mu'min, said that all activities would be carried out according to Covid-19 protocols.

"In the implementation of this special SAR alert, the implementation of health protocol procedures starting from clothing, then procedures, and standard operating procedures adapted to the current Covid-19 conditions," he explained.

He said that a special SAR alert would be carried out from 27 October to 2 November 2020 by placing personnel at several ports and tourist attractions.

"Personnel will be assigned to include Sri Bintan Pura Tanjungpinang Port, Sri Bayintan Kijang, Telaga Punggur Batam Port, as well as public ports in the Riau Islands," said Mu'min.

He emphasized that all personnel always coordinate with potential SAR elements related to the location of the activity.

Mu'min also advised his personnel to carry out their duties in the field to maintain enthusiasm and always pay attention to safety factors.

"Stay enthusiastic in carrying out special SAR alerts, be careful and maintain safety, pay attention to security both for yourself, the team, and also for the people on-site," he hoped.
