Batam - 56 days before the Election (Pilkada), the police have prepared 7 personnel to standby at the Batam Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) Office.

Kapolresta Barelang Polda Kepri AKBP Yos Guntur said this activity was part of Operation Mantap Praja and Operation Safe Nusa II Seligi in 2020.

This security was carried out by 7 personnel of the Barelang Police, led by the Head of the Sabhara Police, Barelang Police, Commissioner Firdaus by carrying out checks on the Batam Bawaslu Office.

"Ahead of the implementation of the 2020 Pilkada, the Barelang Police are implementing security at the Bawaslu Office as a preventive measure to ensure that the security situation is conducive. And we do this 1x24 hour, "said Yos Guntur.

In this matter of security, the police officer was also in dialogue with agencies related to the implementation and stages of the 2020 Pilkada.
