Batam - The 2020 National 1000 Startup Digital Movement is back this year in Indonesia. This time, Batam also took part in this movement.

Coordinator of the Batam 1,000 Digital Startups National Movement, Arseto H.P, said that this event was the first to be held in Batam.

"The goal is to provide knowledge about how to make a startup to the general public and the program is free," said Seto to batamnews, Friday (11/9/2020).

Seto explained, the event which will be inaugurated starting today, Saturday (12/09/2020) was planned to last for several months for training.

"The program will last for 4 months, today it will only be launched but simultaneously in 17 cities. Batam is one of them," said Seto.

Later, the launching of the event will be held offline and online. For offline, it is held in the Creation Room, Komplek Nusantara Golden, Batam Center.

"Our target is 500 participants, now 68 people have registered before launching," he said.

Later, each participant who took part in the 1,000 Startup Digital program will follow four stages, namely ignition, workshop, hacksprint, and bootcamp.
