Bintan, Batamnews - This year the Bintan Regency Government will build a library at the Great Mosque of Nurul Iman Kijang, East Bintan District.

The Acting Regent of Bintan, Roby Kurniawan, said the government had allocated Rp 400 million through the 2021 Bintan Regional Budget to build a library at the Great Mosque of Nurul Iman.

"God willing, this year, around Rp 400 million will be allocated to create a library at the Nurul Iman Mosque," said Roby, Sunday (31/10/2021).

The purpose of building libraries in the mosque is to improve facilities, as well as breakthroughs in fostering and developing mosque library management.

"Hopefully, it will be useful for improving mosque facilities as well as part of literacy development," he explained.
