The Netherlands Aims to Batam for Renewable Energy Investment

Batam - The Netherlands is reportedly interested in investing in renewable energy in Batam, Riau Islands.

This is a fortunate event for Batam as it has encouraged investment in this field with Solar Power Plants.
 
Head of BP Batam Public Relations and Protocol Bureau, Ariastuty Sirait, said the Windmill State Embassy had conveyed that they were interested in investing in renewable energy.

Ariastuty also said that the meeting in the business gathering was to provide information about investment opportunities in Batam.

"We focus on informing the audience who come from various embassies and associations to provide the latest information about developments in Batam," said Ariastuty, at a business gathering with representatives of friendly countries in Jakarta, Thursday (30/9/2021).

"Hopefully the embassies and associations who come today can capture the vision and opportunities offered by BP Batam so that we can collaborate with them, especially with investors," he added.

To provide information on the latest developments in Batam, BP Batam through the Jakarta Representative Office held a Business Gathering with the theme "Batam Update 2021 (BKPM) OSS Supervision" at the JS Luwansa Hotel, Jakarta on Thursday (30/9/2021).

This Business Gathering presented three speakers, namely the Head of the BP Batam Representative Office, Purnomo Andiantono; Head of Public Relations, Promotion and Protocol Bureau, Aristuty Sirait; and the Head of Sub-Directorate of BKPM for Riau Islands, Riau and Jambi Regions.

Also attending the event were Deputy General Chairperson of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Transportation, Denon Prawiraatmadja as well as representatives of the Australian, Egyptian, Dutch Embassies, and the Taipei Trade Office.
