Batam, Batamnews - Corona vaccination for residents in the Riau Islands Province continues to be intensified in all districts and cities.

The daily chairman of the Task Force for Handling the Covid-19 and Economic Recovery of the Riau Islands Province, Lamidi revealed that 579,760 people had received the Covid-19 vaccination.

"The data is up to Friday (6/25/2021). In percentage terms, it reaches 41.53 percent and is spread across all regencies/cities," said Lamidi in a written statement, Saturday (26/6/2021).

The details are 18,043 health workers, 38,991 elderly citizens, and 522,726 public services.

In more detail, in Batam, 307,340 people have been vaccinated or 39.15% of the target of 785,003 people. Vaccine stock in Batam is 6,465 Multi-Dose Vials.

Then in Tanjungpinang, 82,176 people have been vaccinated or 51.84% of the target of 158,525 people. The stock of vaccines in the Riau Islands capital was recorded at 4,141 Multi-Dose Vials.

Then, Bintan Regency recorded that 58,322 people, or 51.34% of the target of 113,598 people had been vaccinated. Vaccine stock is 5,328 Multi-Dose Vials.

Meanwhile, in Karimun Regency, 73,224 people or 40 percent of the targeted 183,050 people have been vaccinated. Vaccine stock in Karimun is 3,497 Multi-Dose Vials.

In District Kep. Anambas has 10,704 people or 32.92% of the targeted 32,512 people who have been vaccinated. Vaccine stock at Anambas has 939 Multi-Dose Vials.
