Batam, Batamnews - Batam, Riau Islands recorded the highest number of recovered patients in a day, during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Batam Covid-19 Task Force Team reported that 326 patients were declared cured of Corona.

This figure boosted the patient's recovery rate to 88.46 percent or 8,754 people.

Meanwhile, the recovery of patients also reduced the number of active cases to 924 people, or 9.33 percent.

However, the daily addition of new cases is also quite high, namely 122 people.

The 122 new cases consisted of 70 symptomatic cases, 48 asymptomatic cases, and 4 confirmed contact cases.

The accumulation of positive Corona cases in Batam has now reached 9,895 cases.

The number of patients who died increased by 1 and the death rate has now reached 217 people or 2.19 percent.
