Batam Has Installed CCTVs to Scan the Face of Street Offenders

Batam, Batamnews - The Deputy Mayor of Batam gave his appreciation to the Police for the inauguration of the Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) or electronic ticket.

Therefore, he invited all elements of society to always comply with discipline on the road because all motorist activity on the road will be monitored in real-time.

"Thank you Indonesian Police, a very meaningful breakthrough for our beloved Indonesia," said Deputy Mayor of Batam, Amsakar Achmad at the Barelang Police, while watching the virtual inauguration of the electronic ticket, Tuesday (23/3/2021).

Furthermore, Amsakar said that the launching of ETLE stage 1 was held at the NTMC Polri building, Jakarta, which was inaugurated by the Chief of Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.

The national ETLE is one of the implementations of the National Police Corps in realizing one of the priority programs of precision or predictive, responsibility, transparency, and justice.

In a separate place, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo said, The presence of this national electronic ticket is to improve public safety and security programs on roads.

The National Police Chief wants the public to be more vigilant in being vigilant because the ETLE can monitor motorist behavior.

"This is part of our efforts to improve security, safety, order, and smooth traffic programs," said General Sigit.

However, of course, there need to be law enforcement efforts so that the process of implementing the activities of road users can be disciplined, can prioritize safety, and of course respect other people who are fellow road users," said the Chief of Police.
