Batam - General Election Commissions (KPU) of Batam and Batam Health Office (Dinkes) planned voting schemes for patients who are still positive for Covid-19.
The head of KPU Batam, Herigen, said that his party had coordinated with hospitals or places that were used as a reference for treatment or isolation for patients
Temporary data about 3 days ago, there were a total of 650 Covid-19 patients. "We have coordinated with the Batam Covid-19 Task Force, and the Health Office as well," Herigen said, Tuesday (8/12/2020).
Batam KPU commissioner, Sastra Tamami added that until now, from the latest data obtained, a total of 800 more Covid-19 patients. However, the data is still incomplete.
"It is still difficult to classify which patients are children, which are parents," said Sastra.
Therefore, based on the General Election Commission Regulations (PKPU) number 6 of 2020, his party will write to the hospital one by one with a copy to General Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) to record the number of patients who are willing to vote.
"We will give a deadline until 7 o'clock tonight, special treatment for Covid-19 patients," he said.
Furthermore, Sastra explained that on the day of the event, because PKPU does not regulate mobile polling stations (TPS), each KPPS will wear a protective suit escorted by Bawaslu to come together to the hospital that provides a list.
"There is no need for a letter of transfer to voting, so patients are accompanied when using their voice, assisted by KPPS officers and supervised by Bawaslu," he said.
