Tanjungpinang - Task Executor Mayor of Tanjungpinang, Rahma, observed the location of the fire that occurred in the incinerator room (medical waste treatment warehouse) of the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Tanjungpinang, Tuesday (11/8/2020).

Rahma saw the debris of the post-fire location which was usually used for the medical waste disposal room. Rahma said he would immediately find a solution for this medical waste storage if necessary moving the room to a better place.

"As soon as possible we will find a solution for the room and incinerator machines," said Rahma at the location.

According to Rahma, medical waste is dangerous if left unchecked, and must be destroyed or treated immediately. For this reason, his party will find a solution to deal with the problem.

"This medical waste is very dangerous, it must be processed immediately, otherwise it can cause negative impacts," he said.

The Task Executor Director of BLUD Tanjungpinang Hospital, Yunisaf, ensured that the service at the RSUD was not disrupted after the fire that occurred in the room

"Thank God, all services, both IGD, ICU, inpatient and outpatient services are confirmed to be running normally," said Yunisaf.

For the development plan, continued Yunisaf, his party will conduct a study. "Today, we will discuss further with the task executor mayor," he said.
