Riau Island - Riau Islands’ Apindo (The Employers' Association of Indonesia) Chairman Ir. Cahya warned the entrepreneurs to not take advantage of the current situation, about the spread of the corona virus, to gain personal or group profits.

"Entrepreneurs don't take profits when the community is having a hard time," Cahya told Batam News, Thursday (05/03/2020).

Apindo, Cahya said, invited all entrepreneurs in the Riau Islands to support each other together, facing this difficult situation.

"It is precisely this time that we share, work together and help each other deal with this outbreak and hope that everything will pass soon," Cahya said.

Cahya emphasized, specifically for entrepreneurs who sell basic needs to nor raise the price to the community.

"To not buy up all of groceries. Don't panic. Corona is not as scary as what is reported," he said.

In addition, Cahya said, people do not need to panic related to the issue of the spread of the corona virus. Stay active as usual and care for your health.
