Minister Tjahjo Kumolo: Radisson Hotel is a Liar

Minister for the Empowerment of State Apparaturs and Bureaucracy Reform (MenPAN-RB), Tjahjo Kumolo, was furious about the service at the Radisson Golf & Convention Center Batam.

Tjahjo Kumolo was angry and said Radisson Hotel management was extremely bad.

"Personally, I am disappointed with this Radisson Hotel, liar," Tjahjo said in front of a thousand people, Monday (10/2/2020).

According to Tjahjo, even a class of ministers like him could be fooled,  especially as usual people.

At the time, The audience was shocked. They only heard the furious of the minister.

"People were shocked. At the time, it was a big event, that attended by mayors, regents, and the other functionary Indonesia," said a participant.

At the time, amount of Batam Mayor, Rudi , regents and mayors from all regions, Indonesia, were present.

Batam Mayor, Rudi was also shocked. Reportedly, he had asked one of the heads of functionary to check the matter of the minister's anger.

The event was related to the resignation of the evaluation results of the Government Institution Performance Accountability System (SAKIP) in 2019.

He said, Radisson is a hotel with a high standards, but it was deceiving.

"The minister was fooled, even less the others," he said. Not only that, Tjahjo continued his complaint.

"I will publish on mass media about the matter," said Tjahjo.

But, even he's furious, the management of Radisson Hotel did not know for sure what made him anger. 

On the other hand, Director of Sales Radisson Golf & Convention Center Batam, Suriyanti Panjaitan, have not giving yet the confirmation about that.

His anger conveying at resignation of the evaluation results of the Government Institution Performance Accountability System (SAKIP) at Radisson Golf & Convention Center, Batam.

Responding to Tjahjo's anger, Suriyanti Panjaitan as a Director of Sales of Radisson Hotel was not worry about that.

"We are calm down to handle it. We're not guilty about that," she said when confirmed by Batamnews on Monday (10/2/2020).

Suriyanti also admitted that what Tjahjo said made the other attendant was shocked. Beside that, she does not know exactly the matter of the Raddisson Hotel.

"So, when I heard it, I was also shocked. We've all looked for what was wrong, but we didn't know until now. The Mayor also conveyed the same thing. I said I don't know, sir, I don't know," she said.

In fact, Suryanti said there was no any complaints to the hotel from Tjahjo's staff. She also said has been giving the best service for the Minister, Tjahjo Kumolo. It starts from the welcoming reception, delivered to the room that accompanied by the Tjahjo protocol.

"The protocol even asks us what's the matter, we don't know. We have also checked the CCTV, who is entered to his room. So, there is no bad service, we're done the best for the minister," she said.

According to her, this is the only guest who complain about that. Even before, lthe other Ministers, public figures, artists, there were no complaints regarding services."

"We have been handle Minister guest many times, and we also have a standard in Radisson Hotel. So, we never disappointed the guest or anyone who comes to our hotel," Suriyanti said.
