KPK Confiscates Luxury Assets of Andhi Pramono in Riau Islands

Riau Islands, Batamnews - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has seized a number of assets belonging to the former Head of Makassar Customs, Andhi Pramono, in Batam City, Riau Islands. The confiscated assets include a plot of land with a building covering an area of 840 square meters in the Grand Summit at Southlinks Complex, Tiban Indah Village, Sekupang District, Batam City.

Additionally, KPK also seized a plot of land with a building in the Center View Housing Block A No. 32 Batam City, and a plot of land covering 1,674 square meters in Batu Besar Village, Nongsa District, Batam City. Not only that, 14 shop houses located in Tanjung Pinang were also seized by the anti-corruption agency.

The Head of KPK's Public Relations Division, Ali Fikri, stated that these confiscated assets would soon be brought to trial to prove allegations of corruption and money laundering crimes, so that they can be seized for asset recovery.

Previously, KPK had also seized seven plots of land in various regions and one luxury car, a red Ford. Andhi Pramono himself was charged with receiving gratuities amounting to IDR 58.9 billion, consisting of Indonesian rupiah, Singapore dollars, and US dollars.

These criminal acts occurred during the period from 2012 to 2023 while Andhi held various positions within the Directorate General of Customs and Excise. For his actions, Andhi was charged with violating Article 12 B of the Corruption Eradication Act (UU Tipikor) in conjunction with Article 65 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
