Batam, Batamnews - Positive cases of Corona in Batam, Riau Islands decreased in the second weekend of June 2021. There were 64 new cases reported on Saturday (12/6/2021).

Data from the Batam Covid-19 Task Force Team detailed the 64 new cases consisting of 39 symptomatic cases, 20 asymptomatic cases, 4 confirmed contact cases, and 7 cases without travel history or contact confirmation.

The positive accumulation of Corona in Batam has now reached 10,809 cases, with 1,125 active cases or 10.40 percent.

Meanwhile, the reported recovered patients are slightly different from the new cases, namely 60 people. A total of 9,462 people have now been declared cured, or a cure rate of 87.53 percent.

No patient deaths were reported. The death rate remains at 222 people or 2.05 percent.
