350-Meter Skyscraper Tower Meisterstadt Pollux Habibie Has Failed to Be Built

Batam, Batamnews - The construction of the five towers Meisterstadt Pollux Habibie in Batam, Riau Islands, failed to be implemented. Originally the tower was one of the highest in Indonesia. It reaches 350 meters in height and has 100 floors.

The failure of development was due to the never ending Corona pandemic. The plan is that by July 2020 the construction will be completed. In fact, until now there has been no sign of development.

Some time ago, reportedly, the height of the tower was protested by the Hang Nadim Airport Authority and Changi Airport Authority.

The party objected because it could disrupt air traffic and endanger flights.

Pollux argued that the building could be built after the pandemic ended.

"Gradually with several more towers later. "Hopefully the pandemic can end as soon as possible so that it runs smoothly in the future," said General Manager Sales and Marketing of Pollux Habibie Richie Laseduw to batamnews, Friday (29/5/2021).

For the design, Richie said that at any time the design could change from the initial design.

And for the tower, it will also be different from other towers that are built for apartments.

"For Office," he said.

This building has a height of 350 meters and was built by the Pollux Properties Group and the BJ Habibie family through Pollux Habibie International.
