Drunk Tugboat Crew Stabs Chief Officer in Tanjung Sengkuang Port

Batam - A tugboat crew, who was in Tanjung Sengkuang port, Batam was reportedly stabbed to death by his colleague on Saturday (1/8/2020) early morning.
Reported by Batamnews from ritmee.co.id, the name of the victim is Erwin Darlis (33). The man was the Chief Officer of the Tugboat Ship with the hull name TB ASL Pelican.
The information said the victim was a sailor from Kombong, Kurrusumanga Village, Belopa District, Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi.
Erwin was stabbed by fellow crewmen (ABK) in the tugboat. The perpetrator with initial FP was from Toraja. The suspect was the 2nd engineer on the ship
The information gathered said that at dawn the perpetrator along with some colleagues had just returned home for a drink. In a drunken state, then returned to his ship. When arriving on the ship, the victim reminded the perpetrator not to go home late at night. The reprimand was not well received by the perpetrators.
"The perpetrator suddenly took a knife and chased the victim. When he found the victim, the perpetrator immediately stabbed him up to 9 times. As a result of serious injuries suffered, the victim died," said a source.
