Batam, October 13, 2023 - The atmosphere was one of pure joy and celebration at Central Park in Batam yesterday evening. Rows of elegant floral arrangements bore congratulatory messages for the newly relocated residents of Rempang.

The flowers carried heartfelt congratulations from various parties, including community leaders from Batu Ampar, religious figures from Batu Ampar, Cinta Damai Community, Buana Bhakti, the Tengku Maimun family from Batam, community figures from Nongsa, and Sei Beduk.

PT Maju Bersama also took part in this celebration by sending a beautiful flower arrangement along with a warm message. "Congratulations on moving into your new home, people of Rempang. May you find comfort and success," read the message from PT Maju Bersama.

The flower arrangements were part of a grand communal feast held last night, October 12, 2023, for the new Rempang community. Notable attendees included Muhammad Rudi, the head of BP Batam, represented by Sudirman Sa'ad from the Investment and Area Management division; Zulkarnain Umar, the Head of the Ministry of Religion in Batam; Ute Rambe, the sub-district head of Galang; and the relocated residents of Rempang and Galang.

Rusli, the Chairman of the Grand Feast Committee for the New Rempang Community, expressed gratitude to BP Batam and the government for the smooth relocation. "I feel this is one step toward a better future," said Rusli earnestly.

Juliana, one of the residents who moved from Pasir Panjang, also expressed her thankfulness. "Many thanks to the head of BP Batam and the Mayor of Batam. We were relocated perfectly," she said joyfully.

The Rempang community is currently enveloped in a spirit of unity and happiness. With congratulatory messages decorating Central Park, Batam, they celebrate a new step toward a brighter and more comfortable future in their new homes.
