Batam, Batamnews - The joint SAR team has still conducted searches in Batubesar Waters, Nongsa District, Batam, Riau Islands Province, Sunday (26/9/2021).

Two fishermen went missing after the boat was hit by a cargo ship. Of the three fishermen, one person managed to survive. His name is Adam.

Roni, a resident of Batubesar Village, Nongsa District, Batam, said the three fishermen were local residents.

"The missing ones are Imron Nur Restu and Tendi Fauzan Bahri," said Roni.

The two victims are said to be brothers who are currently being sought by the SAR team.

They used to go to the sea to fish in a pompong boat with an 85 HP engine. The boat belonged to Adam.
