Batam - The extreme weather that hit Batam, Riau Islands, disrupted several flight schedules of Hang Nadim Airport.

Acting Head of Airport Business Agency (BUBU) of Hang Nadim Batam, Benny Syahroni, revealed that at least four flights were delayed since Friday (1/1/2021) yesterday.

"There were 4 planes that were delayed yesterday due to continuous rain," Benny told Batamnews, Saturday (2/1/2021).

However, Benny said there were no significant obstacles caused by this bad weather, such as flight stops.

As for passenger data on January 1 yesterday, the total number of people who came to Batam Hang Nadim Airport was only 2,275 people and passengers departing were 2,285 people.

"For flights, there are 25 arriving and 25 departings, so there are a total of 50 flights," said Benny.
