Lingga - Lingga Resort Police (Polres), together with related agencies and community organizations (Ormas) held a preparedness rally for hydrometeorological disasters (weather factors) in 2020/2021 at the Lingga Police Apple Field, Friday (6/11/2020).

In the implementation of the rally which was led directly by the Regional Secretary (Sekda) Lingga, Syamsudi, Lingga Police Chief AKBP Arief Robby Rachman said that this activity was carried out to anticipate the impact of La Nina in the form of a hydrometeorological disaster in Lingga Regency.

"In the implementation, this preparedness ceremony was led by the Regional Head, in this case, the Regent of Lingga, represented by the Regional Secretary of Lingga Syamsudi Regency," said the Head of Police.

Furthermore, the Head of Police revealed that the implementation of this activity was to equalize perceptions in the context of natural disaster preparedness if it happened in Lingga Regency.

"I hope that the people of Lingga Regency will jointly anticipate the impact of La Nina which can lead to a hydrometeorogic disaster and report to related parties if a disaster occurs," he said.

After completing the implementation of the preparedness rally, it is continued with checking the readiness of the vehicle, SAR equipment, and an explanation of the weather forecast for BMKG Lingga Regency.
