Batam - Hang Nadim Airport officials secured a prospective passenger who insisted on flying by plane. The passenger in question tried to trick the officer.

Whereas previously he did not pass the screening at the airport because of his reactive rapid test results.

Director of Hang Nadim Airport, Suwarso, told of the incident, Wednesday (2/9/2020). The passenger was destined for Jakarta.

"Yesterday we got one that was reactive and still insisted on taking the flight," said Suwarso, Thursday (3/9/2020).

Hang Nadim Airport implements strict health protocols for prospective passengers who will enter the airport, one of which must attach the results of a rapid test, or conduct a rapid test on-site.

Suwarso said, although the prospective passenger tried to keep going, it could be stopped by the officer on duty.

"We managed to secure it, we immediately took the prospective passenger to Galang Hospital," said Suwarso.
