Batam - The return of Fatonah from the treatment of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) was welcomed by the residents of Belakang Padang. The residents waited for the arrival of the ship carrying an elderly woman in the main port of Penawar Rindu Island on Sunday (07/12/2020).

A small bouquet of flowers was given to this 80-year-old grandmother. The giver was subdistrict head of Belakang Padang, Yudi Admajianto. Not only a bouquet of flowers, but the return of Fatonah's grandmother was also welcomed by the applause.

"We are grateful today that Fatonah's grandmother has been cured. Alhamdulillah Belakang Padang returned to the green zone, "said Yudi.

He said this gratitude was not only because the first patient Covid-19 Belakang Padang was declared cured but also because of the condition of patients who are elderly but still keep the spirit to be healthy again.

"This can be a motivation for all of us, especially patients who are currently being treated. "If Fatonah, an 80 years old grandmother, can be cured, InsyaAllah, the young can get well soon too," he said.

The recovered Fatonah condition was included in the release of the Batam Task Force Management Team for Covid-19 on July 12.

"Even though they have returned to the green zone, the people of Belakang Padang should not be complacent. We must still be obliged to wear masks and keep our distance. And for the people of Batam who come to Belakang Padang also must wear a mask. Because it will be checked at the port of Belakang Padang, "said the former Head of Batam Public Relations Setdako.
